Series consists of 193 hand painted glass lantern slides ranging from 1892 – 1948 of pre-union Methodist and Presbyterian mission work in China which were previously managed by Mr. and Mrs. F. C. Stephenson. As well as Dr. Foster’s PhD thesis (The Imperialism of Righteousness: Canadian Protestant Missions and the Chinese Revolution: 1925-1928) from the University of Toronto in 1976.
