The bulk of the series pertains to his involvement in The Canadian Historical Association (CHA), the Ontario Historical Society (OHA), Archeological and Historic Sites Board, and the Social Sciences Research Council of Canada. This series also documents Sydney Wise's induction into the Order of Canada (1989-1990).
