Aberdeen correspondence

This sub-series consists of incoming handwritten correspondence from suppliers in Aberdeen, Scotland to Lancelot, Leopold, Charles and Victor de Carle, regarding new orders as well as invoices for completed work. Most letters include detailed diagrams ('tracings') and some also have related bills of lading attached. This correspondence, from Gerrie & Nicol (1892-December 1895); Alexander Nicol (March 1896); Henderson & Webster (March 1897); Peter Gerrie (March 1897-1912); The British Granite & Marble Co. (April 1908); and William Edwards & Son (April 1914) dates from 1892 through to 1919. Contemporary newspaper clippings are attached to several letters.

This sub-series is comprised of early work and order books, which preceded or were supplementary to the Inscription Books.

Antoinette de Mirecourt or Secret Marrying and Secret Sorrowing

This sub-series includes permission letters, collations, and microfilm relating to the production of Antoinette de Mirecourt or Secret Marrying and Secret Sorrowing. The permission files consist of correspondence with the Royal Ontario Museum and Carleton University Press regarding photographs of Cornelius Kriegnoff, August Kollner and Alice Killay's work. There is one microfilm reel of Antoinette de Mirecourt or Secret Marrying and Secret Sorrowing as used for collation.

John C. Stockdale edited Antoinette de Mirecourt or Secret Marrying and Secret Sorrowing (1864) by Rosanna Leprohon in 1989, the sixth CEECT scholarly text. This publication is abbreviated ANT throughout the CEECT fonds.

Applications

This sub-series consists of applications submitted by CEECT, including letters of intent and supporting documentation for SSHRC funding.

CEECT applied for major editorial negotiated grants in 1981 and 1986. These applications required CEECT to demonstrate its research and intent at each stage of the process.

Archival research

The sub-series consists of a mixture of military documents regarding the Australian and Canadian armies. The sub-series also includes researched collected from the John Monash diary.

Association for Preservation Technology International (APT)

This sub-series consists of records created and accumulated by Herb Stovel during his work for the Association of Preservation Technology International. Stovel served as the President of the Association for Preservation Technology from 1989 to 1991.

This series consists of correspondence, documents, and memos related to APT conference planning and APT committee meetings.

Autobiography (subseries)

Contains a file of summary materials such as photocopies of his curriculum vitae to 1953 and his annotated copy of the 1856 Munich biographical pamphlet
