The series includes lecture notes, assignments, exam questions, outlines, and notes on various aspects of Administrative Law such as Judicial Remedies, Scope of Review and Natural Justice.

While at Carleton University, Professor Abbott taught a graduate course in Administrative Law 51.550 from 1963-1973.

Series is comprised of: Carleton University Contingent Standing Orders; Part 1 Unit Orders; and Part 2 Unit Orders. Part 1 Orders reflect announcements, guidelines and administrative issues. Part 2 Orders record lists of Contingent Officers and Officer Cadets usually issued on a monthly basis.

The series consists of reference files, memorandum within the university and specifically within the Law Department, correspondence with other universities, records dealing with student discipline and correspondence generated from various committees that he participated in. In addition, the series incudes one photographs taken while Professor Abbott was on sabbatical leave, researching at Algonquin Park.

Advisory Committee on Academic Planning

Series consists of minutes, draft reports and correspondence concerning work Dr. Holmes and others did on a Advisory Committee on Academic Planning report to the Council of Ontario Universities. Dr. Frumhartz collected these records and used them as reference materials in the course of his work for various committees.

The Advisory Committee on Academic Planning was established December 14, 1970. Its activities fell under the direction of the Ontario Council on Graduate Studies and through them the Council of Ontario Universities, then known as the Committee of Presidents of Universities of Ontario. The Advisory Committee on Academic Planning was responsible for assisting the promotion of graduate studies in Universities, advise on affective planning for the development of graduate studies, design assessments for graduate study programs and the implementation of these assessments. Dr. Holmes, a professor of chemistry, was involved in the committee as a member of a chemistry working group compiling information for a system for evaluating the chemistry graduate study programs.

Alumni Association

The series consists of working files that were accumulated by Development and Alumni Services for publicity and administrative purposes. Included are files that pertain to Convocation, High School Recruitment, Residence Reunions and Anniversaries. Also includes branch, chapter, and affiliate branch event material. Records include correspondence, brochures, reports, programs, newsletters, flyers, directories, invitations, newspaper articles, budgetary considerations, Ephemera, minutes, registration forms and graduation lists. Slides are a send-off presentation representing athletics, campus activities, Ottawa, residence, student life, and services.

Alumni magazine

The series consists of working files or drafts created for the publication of the Alumni magazine and the other publications, which are published by Development and Alumni Services. Records include drafts, correspondence, pamphlets, magazines, newspapers and newsletters.

Alumni records

Series consists of various contact lists, correspondence and clippings pertaining to alumni of St. Patrick's College. The series also contains the Alumni Constitution.
