Building Materials

Series consists of records created and accumulated by the Heritage Canada Foundation in publications and research related to the materials of the built environment. Records include standards guidelines, reports, correspondence, bibliographies and sources, technical manuals, recommendations and publications.

Buildings

Series consists of files that were accumulated by the Department of University Communications for publicity and media purposes. The buildings that are included in the series are St. Patrick's College, Robertson Hall/ Administration Building, Architecture Building, Dunton/ Arts Tower, Environmental Laboratories, Herzberg Laboratories, Loeb Building, Mackenzie Engineering Building, the University Centre, the Art Gallery, MacOdrum Library, Maintenance Building, Paterson Hall, the Physical Recreation Centre, the Residences, Social Science Research Building, Southam Hall, Steacie Chemistry Building and Tory Science Building. Records include correspondence, reports, invitations, floor plans, newspaper articles, programs, publications, maps, budgetary considerations, news releases and advertisements about Open House and official openings.

Bursar's office

Series consists of material that was accumulated by the Department of University Communications for the purposes of publicity and media. Records include correspondence and reports that were created during the time of Carleton College, which were primarily sent to and created by Mr. F.J. Turner, who worked in the Bursar's Office at that time. The files document registration, medical insurance claims, miscellaneous subjects budgetary considerations and financial statements that were the responsibility of that office.

CUP history

This series consists of textual records detailing the history of CUP, including: special project and resource files; subject-related essays and theses; alumni lists, interviews and correspondence; member and mainstream newspaper clippings; CUP file indexes; grant proposals and applications; newsletters and correspondence; speeches and addresses; promotional events, services, activities and conference documentation; and historical staff lists.

Campaign and Promotional Material

Series consists of promotional buttons, stickers and banners, video cassette recordings of election advertisements and transcripts of campaign policy statements, briefs and speeches accumulated by Joe Clark throughout his political career within the Progressive Conservative Party of Canada. Also included are two sets of personal photographs of campaign events in 2000.

Campaign files

The series consists of files created by Development and Alumni Services for administrative purposes. Records include correspondence, pamphlets, posters, newspaper articles, proposals, minutes, reports, mailing lists, budgetary considerations, gift logs, records of bequests, handwritten notes, as well as, donation and corporate pledge correspondence.

Campus plus

Campus plus was an advertising placement agency owned by Canadian University Press. It was established by CUP in 1981 under the auspices of Canadian University Press Media Services Limited, and ceased operations in 2013, when it declared bankruptcy. It was created as an advertising co-op for the Press, offering advertisers a single venue for accessing member papers. This series consists of textual records comprising the history and activities of Campus plus, including: board of directors' meeting minutes and reports; planning, standards and policy documents; sales and research reports; surveys; business plans; correspondence with member papers (including boycott campaigns); financial reports; and communications documents regarding initiatives.
