The first series is comprised of material created and accumulated during Stovel’s work as a consultant, including with his consulting firm the Institute for Heritage Education.
The second series is comprised of material created and accumulated during Stovel’s work for various heritage organizations. The series is divided into the following sub-series: International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS), International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property (ICCROM), Heritage Canada Foundation (HCF), Ontario Heritage Foundation (OHF), United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), Parks Canada, and the Association for Preservation Technology International (APT).
The third series is comprised of research and reference material accumulated over the course of Stovel’s career, and is divided into the following sub-series: Teaching and Instruction, Geographic, Historical: Valentine, and Historical: Rempel.
