RCAF chapter briefings

The series consists of documentation that outlines the planning, research, and development of Wise's work on RCAF history. These records include the chapter briefings for his book Canadian Airmen and the First World War: Official History of the Royal Canadian Air Force. The series also documents Professor Wise's trips to the US Military History Institute and his interest in the Shenandoah Valley Campaign 1862.

Sydney Wise was a member of the Royal Canadian Air Force (1943-1945), and Director, Directorate of History, National Defence (1966-1973). Using this knowledge and military experience, Wise has authored numerous articles and books about the history of the RCAF and military history of Canada. Publications include the five editions of Men In Arms: A History of the Interrelationships of Warfare and Western Society, Stoia sociale della guerra, Canadian Airmen and the First World War: Official History of the Royal Canadian Air Force, The Valour and the Horror Revisited, and numerous articles on the same topic.

Series is comprised of material created or accumulated by Thomas Kines. The bulk of the series is comprised of newspaper and magazine clippings and reviews pertaining to musical performances. The series also contains programs and posters/flyers from musical performances and recitals as well as promotional photographs of Kines and others.

Series is comprised of scripts and notes created or accumulated by Thomas Kines. The scripts and notes include: The Folk Fair; Folk Songs; The Prairie Sailor; Songs from Gavan's Bar; The Song Pedalar; Songs of My People; The Song Shop; Putt'in on the Style; and Christmas and miscellaneous scripts.

Corporate Relations and Fundraising

Series consists of records created and accumulated by Heritage Canada Foundation in regards to the foundation's corporate partners, advertisers and advocates. Records include internal and external correspondence, applications, budgets and financial data, fundraising programs, proposals, publications, and reports.

Heritage Canada Foundation worked with corporate bodies and private partners in order to advertise, fundraise for HCF events or programs, advocate for heritage causes or conduct research. Includes international and American corporations as well as Canadian businesses and heritage associations.
