Canadian Institute for International Peace

This sub-series contains material created or accumulated by Geoffrey Pearson pertaining to the Canadian Institute for International Peace, including his time as Executive Director. The sub-series includes a number of transcripts of speeches and talks given by Geoffrey Pearson.

The Clockmaker

This sub-series includes collation material and microfilm pertaining to The Clockmaker. The microfilm file consists of twelve microfilm reels of The Clockmaker, Series One, Series two, Series Three as used for collation.

George L. Parker edited The Clockmaker, Series One, Two and Three (1836, 1838, 1840) by Thomas Chandler Haliburton in 1995, the tenth CEECT scholarly text. This publication is abbreviated SAM throughout the CEECT fonds.

The History of Emily Montague

This sub-series includes the following material: permission letters, collations, and microfilm. The permission letter file consists of correspondence with academic libraries and museums in the United States and Britain requesting permission to use sections of Frances Brooke's personal letters and photographs. There are eight microfilm reels of The History of Emily Montague as used for collation.

Mary Jane Edwards edited The History of Emily Montague (1769) by Frances Brooke in 1985, the first of the CEECT scholarly texts. This publication is abbreviated HEM throughout the CEECT fonds.

The Mephibosheth Stepsure Letters

This sub-series includes permission letters, collations, and microfilm pertaining to the production of The Mephibosheth Stepsure Letters. The permission letters consist of correspondence regarding reproducing portraits for The Mephibosheth Stepsure Letters. CEECT relied on interlibrary loans to acquire rare books, and as a result utilized the interlibrary loan section of the MacOrdum Library at Carleton University.
