This fonds consists of correspondence between Lloyd Shaw the secretary of the YMCA and Harold Jost. Lloyd Shaw was also involved in a study committee which was exploring the possibility of advancing educational facilities in Ottawa.
This fonds consists of five series. The series are as follows: Private residences; Corporate projects; Government projects; Church plans; and Miscellaneous sketches, plans, proposals.

The records include minutes, correspondence and reports mostly concentrated on Professor Frumhartz's activities in COU and CAUT. Some of the records pre-date the professor's involvement with the organizations but were used as reference materials.
