Batchinsky, Evhen (Eugene) Vasylovych

Autobiography (series)

This series consists of 24 bound volumes and 12 preparatory folders and typescript notes, correspondence, postcards, travel vouchers, restaurant menus, photographs, sketches, paintings, souvenir objects of people and places, clippings, pamphlets (some rare), etc. A running commentary is added and various paginations are imposed on the volumes. Volumes are identified by serial number of date span.

Batchinsky began compiling his "autobiography" when he was eighty-four years old. He states that is was compiled in an unsystematic fashion; it does, for the most part, take the form of an extended scrapbook. There is no index to these materials.

Autobiography; Manuscript and typescript records

Batchinsky's original collection manuscript and typescript records include: some Dossier indexes and lists, a register of correspondence with accounts of moneys received from supporters and parishioners; address file; sample letterhead; and a catalogue of his library.
