The series consists of a number of sub-series. These sub-series include division records, pre-December 1917, chronology, archival research, and Canada corps research.
Sydney Wise had complied research regarding the Canadian World War I effort between 1917-1918. The research has been brought together in such a way that is focused around Canadian involvement in the Battle of Amiens and the "Hundred Day Offensive". Sydney Wise compiled this research through trips to the Australian War Memorial Museum, the Australian National Library and the National Archives of Canada.
Part of Ruth Bates fonds
This series consists of two typewritten letters, dated 1917 and 1918 respectively, sent to Ruth Bates by her mother Cora, while Ruth was a student at the Ottawa Ladies' College. A 1916-1917 calendar for the College is also included.
Soiuz vyzvolennia Ukrainy (SVU)
Part of Evhen Batchinsky fonds
This series consists of a large number of pamphlets, broadsides, photographs etc. There are a large number of copies of the SVU's main organ Vistnyk Soiuza Vyzvolennia Ukrainy, which are found in the Serials series. Of special interest is a substantial collection of posters and programs for cultural and educational events (plays, concerts, etc.) sponsored by SVU for these prisoners. Because of their large size, the posters are separately located.
The materials in this series reflect SVU's attempt to raise the profile of the "Ukrainian question" during World War I, and record its cultural-educational work among tsarist prisoners of war in Austrian and German camps.

Part of Evhen Batchinsky fonds
After creating the monthly Chronological Dossers, Batchinsky trasformed some of them into daily Diary Dossiers. He arranged the selected material in day-date order and interlaved a manuscript commentary describing his activities on the relevant day, with other background information about the accompanying correspondence, news clippings and other papers. Batchinsky used the terms "volumes" and "diary" in referring to materials in the resulting bundles in this file. He did not indicate why only some of the Chronological Dossiers were transformed into Diary Dossiers.
