This sub-series consists of war diaries that Sydney Wise had separated by division. The war diaries look at divisions 1 through 4. The war diaries consist of in-depth information such as, location, date, hour and a summary of events and information. Another component of the divisional records is the summary of intelligence as well as operating orders. The summary of intelligence looks at such military aspects as, attitude of the enemy, artillery, trench mortars, machine gun and rifle fire, patrols, sniping, enemy movement, enemy defence and aircraft.

This sub-series consists of incoming handwritten correspondence from suppliers in Aberdeen, Scotland to Lancelot, Leopold, Charles and Victor de Carle, regarding new orders as well as invoices for completed work. Most letters include detailed diagrams ('tracings') and some also have related bills of lading attached. This correspondence, from Gerrie & Nicol (1892-December 1895); Alexander Nicol (March 1896); Henderson & Webster (March 1897); Peter Gerrie (March 1897-1912); The British Granite & Marble Co. (April 1908); and William Edwards & Son (April 1914) dates from 1892 through to 1919. Contemporary newspaper clippings are attached to several letters.

This series consists of chronological and alphabetical collection of the signatures of prominent and chiefly Ukrainian individuals, in most cases these are signatures clipped from Batchinsky's letters received (some signatures were obtained through third parties). Examples include the autographs of D. Dontsov, Y. Chykalenko, S. Yefremov, L. Yurkevych, D. Doroshenko and M. Hrushevs'kyi. Some of the signatures are on unclipped letters that provide incidental information about the authors.
