Part One of The Book Arts Lab Collections is comprised of both published and ephemeral material brought together to help support the Carleton University Library's Book Arts Lab. Part Two is comprised of material produced by Quad Press and the Book Arts Lab.

The collection of materials on Uganda was gathered during various field trips that Dr. Rosalind Boyd took to that country beginning in 1987. The original schema for organizing the material was put together by the late Andrew Forbes.

The collection is comprised of reports (unpublished papers, articles, speeches, etc.); government publications; individual issues of various serials; and books. The material focuses primarily on gender issues, the economy and reconstituting the polity (i.e., the 1998 Land Bill, the 1995 Constitution, etc.).

The fonds consists of children's drawings for the Champlain Colloquium held at Carleton University in the Fall 2013. The drawings came from the Muselogue Reseau du patrimoine gatinois in Gatineau Quebec.

Collection consists of 109 lantern slides that display various subjects and scenes. The material is represented by two series: Geographic locations, and Education and entertainment.

Fonds is comprised of one series: 1955 Eastern Arctic Patrol: C.D. Howe (1953-2013).

The collection is comprised of several dozen manuscripts, some of which are bound, from the medieval and Renaissance periods (13th to 16th century). The Medieval Manuscript Collection includes both religious and secular material in Latin, Dutch, Old English, and Italian.

The fonds consists of material created or accumulated by the International Committee of the Red Cross. The fonds is comprised of two series: The International Committee of the Red Cross Subject Files (1929-2009) and Canadian Red Cross International Humanitarian Aid Photograph Collection (1920-1992).

George Charron was the Raven's football manager from 1946-1948. The fonds consists of one Raven's cloth football jacket and five photographs of Charron with the jacket.
