Joyce Dilling an American working as a teacher in Mesa Grande. In this image she is interviewing a recent arrival and her daughter. Joyce wrote an excellent book based on her experiences "In Search Of Refuge". Her stay in Mesa Grande was interrupted by illness and she was obliged to return home but reappeared as a peace worker in the Contra war in Nicaragua.
