Series consists of correspondence, a biography of the Ottawa Historical Society, material related to the Canadian Society of Medievalists, and speeches and submissions on aging and health care. The series also contains a study Labarge wrote entitled, "The Cultural Tradition of Canadian Women", which was commissioned by the Royal Commission on the Status Of Women.

Honours and awards

The series consists of correspondence, newspaper clippings, award programs and invitations. Included in the series is material related to her investiture into The Order of Canada, and the bestowment of two honourary doctorates. Also included is material related to the awarding of a Papal medal of merit awarded for her service to the Catholic Church and the community.

Talks, lectures, and papers

The series consists of documentation of presentations on medieval topics, including appearances at medieval conferences, historical societies, and public lectures. The series also contains scripts for radio broadcasts.

University papers and theses

The series consists of papers she wrote while a student at Harvard and Oxford Universities. The series also contains her B.A. thesis, "The Equeteurs from 1247-1315; A Study in Legal Administration", and her B. Litt. thesis, "The Personal Quarrels of Simon de Montfort and Eleanor, his wife, with Henry III of England".
