Biographical history

Peter Johansen was born on September 20th 1947 in Ottawa, Ontario.
Peter Johansen served as Director of the School of Journalism and Communication from 1991 to 1997, and has taught at Carleton University since 1974. He holds a B.A. in political science from Carleton and an M.A. in communication from Stanford University. He worked as a reporter for the Ottawa Citizen, and his freelance articles have won two national writing awards from the International Association of Business Communicators. He has chaired the Board of Directors of the United Church Observer.
