Scope and content

This series primarily consists of architectural drawings produced by George Bemi. This series also consists of photographs /negatives of project sites, as well as textual records that directly relate to a number of George Bemi projects. The major projects contained in this series are: Ottawa Congress Centre, Ottawa Public Library Main Branch, Nepean Sportsplex,Cumberland Elementary School, St. Basil's Church, Virus Lab at Tunney's Pasture, Alta-Vista Bank Street development, Viewmont Fire Station, Sampan Restaurant, West Ottawa Community Centre and West Carleton Secondary School. The sub-series contained within this series are: Apartments and hotels, Canadian Legions, Churches, Commercial, Financial institutions, Fire stations, Medical buildings, Office buildings, Ottawa Congress Centre, Ottawa Public Library, Private residences, Recreational facilities, Schools, and Miscellaneous.
